thats great and all, but what did your other comment about florida and bama being better than us have to do with my comment?

Not much. Just simply that I understand that all teams win a few games by catching good breaks. My point is that Bama nearly gets beat once, and catches the break. They handled their business in the rest of the games. LSU goes 9-4, and catches a good break against MSU and Arkansas to get those 9 wins, not finish the year undefeated.

Fore, what if people do both: bitch and leave. And by leave, I mean not renew their season tickets, not buy merchandise, leave games early, buy less food/drink in the stadium, not donate to TAF...

I don't want Miles canned right now, but a change at the OC level may be in order. Too much money is paid to these coaches to have what happened this year.

You got me there.

Hey, if you want to go on the record as thinking there is no difference between running your starting TB as opposed to your 4th string TB, knock yourself out.

It starts at the top. I don't think Chavis can make or break the program from his DC position.

I don't know, but to have 20 sacks on the season is absolutely putrid. I can all but guarantee you that no championship club has been so bad with getting pressure on the quarterback.

At some point with a bad offense I would think your defense needs to be extra aggressive to try and create turnovers.

It's college football, those things happen.......by the way was the 4th string guy not on scholarship?

How about the 5th string guy sitting his behind on the sideline who had a 70yd run against Auburn and averaged 6yd a carry?

Anyone doing that after a 9-4, 3rd place in the SEC, ranked team, and New Year Day bowl season, I'm thinking LSU can live without and in fact, might be better off without, but each to our own.

no doubt it would have an impact, especially when it comes to debt and future commitments from a TAF standpoint. I don't think it would get to the point where ticket sales or merchandise would drop that much. The general public hasn't been able to get a ticket (from the ticket office) to a top game for quite a while. I'd love to be able to pick up a good Bama or Florida ticket every year.

I agree...I think not canning Crowton is a huge mistake and probably means Les needs to win a couple more games next year than if he would've made a change.

Believe me, I've missed 2 home games in the last 13 years, and made just about every road game and I've never left a game early. But I'm not going to be excited about a team that played poorly in just about all of their games. The only games that this team really showed up and played quality games on both sides of the ball was Auburn/Alabama.
Changes need to be made, and anyone who says otherwise have their heads in the sand.

Rouge, you should probably just give up trying to defend miles(or bash the fans that complain about terrible coaching). Kind of an uphill battle considering all the points you have tried to make are obviously a product of flawed, biased logic...A goddamned goat could understand that we are one mental or just strong, half-hollow head case away from bieng a powerhouse program again. If you are fine with mediocrity, just say so...we could have retained the superior state that saban left us in but instead we are in a clusterfrick situation with a coach that talks like he got more than a few "wires" burnt in the ol' head gasket

Choupique, prepare for some idiot to say...

"You must understand that we gave these teams a good battle."
No, more like "We have a want to give these teams a good battle, and we look forward to the challenge they present"

What is happening is people realize they can't defend certain things, and go after the ranters instead.

And that's different how from the "ranters" going after people who might not agree that LSU football, as we know, it is bout to end?

As said by another, neither life nor LSU football, is all black or white.

Yep. People were calling Crowton the Wizard...now he is the worst OC in the history of NCAA football.

Also, people were first saying the O sucked because Miles was sticking his nose in too much. Now he isn't overriding the calls enough.
