If Johnny Jones and a former NBA coach can't figure out how to get the ball in bounds without chucking it the length of the court, I doubt Brady will be much of an upgrade.

And remember when Pearl coached immediately after he got fired? Oh wait he sat out until after his NCAA punishment was over, just like Tyndall will do. Since he's had NCAA troubles at his last 3 stops he might be waiting for a call longer than that.

Why would Brady come back to be an assistant at the school that fired him?

Its an LSU tradition. Jay McCreary was fired as head basketball coach by LSU and replaced by Press Maravich. Press then turned around and hired McCreary as his assistant.

If you paid him, he'd come.
Look up the record of when MTSU played North Texas with lesser talent.
Also, Brady was an assistant to Davis.
The man can coach.

When he leaves that job it's because he retired, got fired, or hired as an HC at a bigger school.

I get that.
However, I'm not so sure in this case.
Would be interesting to watch what would unfold.
Might be surprising…

No he wasn't. Just because his games were low scoring doesnt mean he's a great defensive coach.

Say what you want when Brady had talent and they were healthy they were very good. JB loves LSU and would probably jump at that chance. JJ would never do that. He may have some ego issues with that, and obviously does not want any help coaching during the game. Four eyes are always better than two when it get heated. Brady can coach talent

Brady had two very good teams. The rest were medocre to horrible and from the 2000 season on there was plenty of talent. I really do believe that people on this board think he can coach simply because the games were very low scoring and he yelled alot.

hiring Howdy Dowdy again would be like hiring Janzen Jackson as the Chief of the Campus Security at Ole Rocky Top. Or maybe bringing in Lester Earl or Eddie Lee Hurts as our recruiting coordinator Or co-coordinators

Not sure if that's true but would love to have him. In fact I was on record that if you're going to settle for a moderately successful Sunbelt coach just because of his LSU ties, I'd rather Kermit.

I guess the question would be how much does CJJ delegate? There are some who think he doesn't delegate enough, and I tend to agree just on perception and looking in from the outside. But I don't know enough of the inner machinations to say that conclusively.
