In a hypothetical world, he'd probably be average to decent. Despite what people may think, men's college sports are very competitive.

Why would he ever risk his legacy as the greatest women's bball coach of all time? He's on top of the women's game and will be as long as he's there. No need to rock that boat.

Gino is not going to coach LSU men's basketball. Happy Hour must have started early.

Alleva should just hire his last coach at Duke, although Brady did beat him in the Sweet 16.

He makes more money than JJ and has been at UConn for 30+ years. Doubt he's looking for a change now.

Pretty sure that no matter what he does from here on, he's got that legacy as the greatest women's b-ball coach of all time locked up solid....11 national titles, the 3 longest win streaks in women's b-ball history and 3 of the top 4 streaks if you include the men. 100+ win streak and counting. Been to the Final Four 9 years in a row and counting, going for 5th straight NC. He's got GOAT of women's b-ball coaches

Samuel Jackson's Coach Carter character as he whipped those thugs into shape and won it all. Better shot Coach C comes here than Geno. Dummy

Of course he would be a good hire. So would John Calipari, Mike K, Roy Williams, or for that matter, John Wooden.

While we're at it, Nick Saban would be a good hire for the football team, as would Bear Bryant, Ara Parsegian, and a host of others.
