Otherwise, there are worse systems to start your career to showcase your talent but Kliff hasn’t really shown much in scheme or even flow as a good play caller, he just spreads the ball out a lot and runs the hell out of some bubble/smoke screens

This. Deandre Hopkins was severely misused by Kliff as a play designer. He wasn’t getting the most out of his talent

Kliff is an elite offensive mind.

I’ve seen similar comments thrown around but when was this actually the case?

His last great offense was over 5 years ago at Texas Tech. Texas tech always has good offenses with those shite defenses in the Big 12.

Washington will do what it takes to get Williams, who’s from DC

Their last DC QB went so well.

The thing that sets JD apart from the others is that he is still improving. Until he came to LSU 2 years ago he was a running QB primarily, that dramatically improved as a passer. Williams and Mayes are more finished products without the upside that JD still has.

Although I am not happy with JD5 being in the same conference with Joe, I think the Patriots would be the best spot for JD5 (I cannot accept him being a Falcon)

Also, Caleb Williams is a bust. I’d go nowhere near him if I was a GM.

Williams doesn't have the mental fortitude to lead a franchise from the ashes. Daniels does, but managers are going to covet Williams. I think they can't see the forest through the trees, and this is one of those times. Both could be really good in the right situation, but teams picking in the top of the draft aren't in good situations. Daniels' floor is higher.

Let him go to a good franchise like New England, Tampa, or the likes. 'Hail no to the Redskins'.

I think Tampa is likely to figure out a way to re-sign Baker Mayfield, which means they won't be looking for a top-draft QB.

One mock draft on SECN today was talking about Daniels going to New England. With the new coaching staff, it's hard to say if that's a good thing.

The wild card may be Minnesota, which would have to trade up, but they have all of the other tools he would need already (including Jets). Are they willing to take that chance?

Everyone knew Bieniemy was going to crash & burn w/o Any Reid & Mahomes to bail him out.

He was shoehorned into another gig bc of his race in an attempt to force him into a NFL Head Coaching position when it was apparent he wasn’t HC material - YET at least!

Caleb Williams is the Commanders’ target. Kingsbury coached him last season at USC. It’s not a coincidence that Kingsbury just turned down the Raiders’ OC job to work for Washington. Trade with the Bears upcoming.

If this happens do you think Bears give fields another year or trade him and pick Daniels?

Kliff would be an excellent OC for Daniels. The issue becomes Caleb Williams' camp forcing his way out of Chicago might land him in Washington. Washington is 100% the better place to go right now.

As long as Daniels doesn't end up with the Falcons or the Vikings, I'm fine. Would be great if you stayed out of the NFC all together, unless it's the Saints

Caleb Williams is already worried about trying to potentially get partial ownership of whatever team drafts him. He’s said he won’t play for certain teams. He couldn’t even win the pac 12. He doesn’t play big in big games. He regressed this past season. You go ahead and pick him. He’s not who Id want leading my team. Crying after losing a regular season game. Cmon man.
