Yes. After the TD, they still had to kick off to Bama with 1 second remaining. And Clemson had a time out.

Well they still had a second left after the touchdown...so I would say yes.

What? Of course they would. If there was time on the clock to kick off there would have been time on the clock to kick a field goal. Maybe I don't get the question???

My thought is if the ball isn't caught does the clock still get stopped in time.

i think what he is getting at is if the ball was dropped it would probably not drop straight to ground thus causing another second to run off. It is bama bias we are talking about here

Depends on if someone from the REC was the clock operator

I think if he drops the ball Nicky Satan has number 5.

REC was trying to do work on the onside kick.

my other question is, since when do the officials replay every single play without making teams throw challenge. I see it happen a couple times a game but it happened like every drive never making bama throw challenge flag

Those were all Booth initiated reviews.

He caught the ball with 2 seconds left. Unless he bobbled it up in the air a bunch of times and then dropped it, yes there would have been time left had he dropped it.
Had he been covered, the smart QB would have likely quickly thrown the ball on the ground as well.

There was plenty of time left. When you don't have an idiot clock manager as a coach and QB, 6 seconds from 2 yards out is a lot of time.

Teddy he caught the ball and ended the play in the endzone with 1 sec to go. Anything short of that time would of expired...

he caught the ball with 2 seconds left. had they reviewed it, which i'm surprised they didn't, they would have added a second to the clock, but i guess Saban didn't bitch about that.

That play took too long to develop. That's cutting it way too close for me
