So Fraley struggles at lead off and excels at the bottom. Sciambra looks good there....

So we switch them?

I'm just not sure there was a problem to be fixed there... I mean, I think both can handle it. But THATS the move he makes? Weird

I hope he goes 5-5 every game with 3 picks. But I'm sure no one believes me.

We all hope for this ell. I know you are not bashing the young man. But we've seen enough of his play at 1B to know he is a liability defensively. You are just stating the facts.

Id let sciambra play 1st if he wants chinea bat in there. Sciambra plays 1st during summer ball if I remember correctly

That's nonsense. Then Sciambra might accidentally get an at-bat versus a left handed pitcher, and we all know that's against the rules of baseball.

Do you think a "real" first base coach would have been more vocal last night in telling Foster to go "half way" on Sciambra's double?

It is not often that you tag from 1B to 2B anyway. You can maybe from 2B to 3B on a ball hit that deep.

Not sure. I'm not a big fan of ever tagging from first personally.

During that situation and inning, he should be standing on second base waiting for a catch or no catch. That way he either scores or trots back to 1st
