I like womens sports. However we are paying a lot of money to a coach we keep waiting to win a game in the tournament. It is frustrating to see her team constantly undersized, fundamentally unsound, unable or refusing to shoot 3's, and always hurt.

She finally has recruited size but her best player at 6-5 is injured and out for the season. She has a 6-6 girl who must be a project or maybe she is hurt too because she is not playing. She has a top player coming in who 6-4 and an all american. When will she get hurt is a good question.

Losing to Tennessee tonight who is less talented than normal Tenn teams is another nail in the coffin that will excllude them in the NCAA unless they get hot later.

They are in the tournament unless they totally collapse in the last few weeks. Losing to a top 25 team who just beat the #2 team in the country is not gonna hurt their tournament chances. Schedule gets easier from here.

She's won like 6 of them.

Do you think Nikki is kneecapping them?

UT is super talented, they just won at USC. Arguably the most talented team in the country behind UCONN and USC. DeShields, Russell, and Cooper were the 1, 2, and 3 recruits in the country one year. Nared was #6. Losing at RPI #14 won't kill us.

Yes and I am impatient. What's wrong with wanting more for the money. Maybe you are totally satisfied but I think she should be doing better. I would like to see her do better.

What I meant by everyone getting hurt is just we don't know why they are getting hurt. Maybe they are injury prone and its just a coincidence. Cant tell if vetting her recruits is the answer but she hasn't gotten everybody together for some reason.

And I didn't read into them being as "super Talented" as years past. They have 7 losses and not all to Conn and USC. I am not being argumentative here, just what I see.

we are in 8th place in the SEC, she is lazy and we have been medicore for 3+ years...4-5 in sec...and if that is not enuff for you all, we have a losing record under Vargas in SEC in her 6 years...think about that in relation to the 15 years before her, BTW no wins vs a top 25 RPI team in over 2 years..none...quality wins this year....not really we are one game UNDER .500 vs top 50 rpi schools...

Didn't we beat NC State this year? Aren't they in the Top 25? Maybe they weren't when we beat them...but they've now beaten 4 top 10 teams and are pretty good. Not defending Coach V...but just pointing that out.

15-7 overall, 4-5 in SEC....but the arse end of the schedule is behind them.

The next 7 games are very important to the future of this program. LSU should roll through the rest of it and secure an NCAA bid. LSU is clearly the better team in 5 of the 7 games they have left, with A&M being a coin flip at home and the game at Auburn being one that could be tough.

Alabama (3-6)
at Ole Miss (3-6)
at Vanderbilt (1-8)
Texas A&M (6-3) who LSU had beaten but let it slip away a few weeks ago
at Georgia (3-6)
at Auburn (5-4)
Vanderbilt (1-8)

LSU should go no less than 5-2 with this remaining schedule. That would put them at 20-9 overall and 9-7 in the SEC, with an RPI that would be somewhere in the 25-30 range (it was 25 before last night). They would be very solidly in the NCAA's and could get a decent seed.

I fully expect this team to meet that goal. They are talented enough and should go no less than 5-2. If they go less than that, then let the bitch-fest begin....with good reason.
