At this point, I gotta think Romero is nowhere near 100% and cannot give quality PT behind or at the plate if we are not seeing him at all.

I like it, if anything just a shakeup to hope something sparks and we get some solid at bats.

The defense Pap provides behind the plate outweighs his bat. Wouldn't expect idiots here to understand that though.

If Coomes wasn't a liability defensively he would be starting.

Pap hasn't been unbelievable behind the plate lately

And yet he's still far and away the best defensive catcher we have. If we struggle to score runs it becomes even more important to keep them off the scoreboard. Pap gives us the absolute best chance to keep runners out of scoring position.

It's not just his bat that is keeping us from scoring runs.

I don't know why Reid would be in the doghouse - has he ever played 1st?

He's been mediocre at best behind the plate this season. I wouldn't expect an idiot like you to understand that though.

And as mediocre as he's been....nobody else has been even close to better.

He's throwing out runners at a great rate. But he's the one the rant loves to shite on, so people bitch about him constantly.

The rants list of LSU baseball p That will never impress the rantards

1. Pap
2. CPM
3. Beau Jordan

Coming up fast on this list:
1. Gibbs
2. Robertson

Players who will never do wrong no matter what.

1. Coomes
2. Romero
3. Breaux

Well they're not given an opportunity.

Papierski has 5 errors on the season and 2 official passed balls. Last season he had 1 error and 3 passed balls for the entire season.

Yep. I know Lange's pitches move a lot, but even when Pap is catching other pitchers I have lost count of how many balls he's just simply dropped.

When you can't throw out a runner on a pitch out there is a problem.

However, the rant blamed that on the pitcher. Believe it or not...y'all can be that ridiculously stupid.

He hasn't done as good a job of blocking as we would hope.....however he did a great job last night. Lange has a big league curve ball, and it takes a big league catcher to try to stop it.

Anybody else trying to block his curve ball would probably be a circus.
