The only reason I wouldn't be too disappointed if we do end up playing Wisconsin with Jennings, is that it may give him an opportunity to get some experience against the team we open against next year. I know the defense won't be the exact same, but I would prefer him get practice in vs them regardless.

The BCS said today we are still under consideration for a BCS Bowl fwiw lol.

Maybe if Auburn makes it to the Natl Title game, the Sugar Bowl will screw Bama and take LSU instead

The Sugar Bowl snubbing Alabama for the hometown team?

...obviously not getting my hopes up though

They'd have to screw Bama, Mizzou, and SC to pick LSU. Also if Bama is in the top 4 they have to be chosen.

Bama spends lots of money wherever they go, and it's beyond impractical to snub a top 4 BCS team over the #14 team, even if it's LSU. On top of the Alabama fans across the Southeast coming in to invade NOLA, the massive contingent of Louisiana bandwagon choads are bound to flock to NOLA and pretend they've loved the tide since birth. Maybe Cam Robinson will show everyone his huge manboobs to the crowd on Bourbon

If a team is in the Top 4 of the BCS, they HAVE to go to a BCS Bowl, by rule.

Alabama is in the top 4, has no games left to play, and with Auburn/Mizzou playing in the SEC Championship game, they won't move any lower.

So yeah, it's impossible.

Forgot about the Top 4 rule. So in what scenario does LSU make a BCS bowl then?

Well each BCS conference has a max of two teams allowed to receive a BCS bid. Otherwise, 2011 Arkansas would have gotten a BCS bid. Wherever you read we could make a BCS bowl did not have their facts straight.

Your worried about gunslinging? The kid came in the game cold and struggled his first series. Next series came in on the one and accounted for all 99 yards.

For a freshman QB it's pretty damn phenomenal to step up like that. I'm not trying to pump him up based off two series of play against Arkansas but I ain't got no worries.

The BCS announced we are still under consideration so there must be at least a 1% chance. Just playing devils advocate here
