With Les gone, will LSU stop airing that hideous commercial for the university?

That commercial is Evo Devo terrible. Do you think they'll pull it since Les is featured? If so that could be the most underrated positive impact of Les' firing.

This is a good point and brings up a lot of other stuff. "Les Miles" is sort of a brand, at least in BR. It's going to cost the university a good bit just to erase his face.

Yeah but it's worth it.
They screwed up when he forced thier hand with the Arkansas coach gig. Should have never got an extension.

Then the university should've thought better before they featured a grass-eating buffoon in their commercial. Our tv ads are atrociously bad. They're always very gimmicky and try to be funny rather than highlight our traditions. The best one I've seen this season is "All for LSU." That one actually have me goosebumps the first time I saw it. Several years back we had a "Forever LSU" ad that was wonderfully done and very classy. I wish we'd go that direction again.

Here is what LSU does. Allow the students to make a video. How awesome would that be? And just give them tution or something? Any LSU student would have done a better job than that commerical.
