LSU is going to have to outscore at least 3 teams to win because our defense will not hold up.
Bama
A&M
Ga
OM
Fla will be lower scoring game, but close nevertheless, because Fla has a good defense.
Our offense is the best we have seen in many years. We could still use another receiver threat...at TE preferably and solid use of a real screen pass to slow down the inevitable blitzes, and learn to properly use our backs as a dump pass when met is pressured. We have major issues at safety that are potentially disastrous at the wrong time.

I still believe the strength of the team will be the outside lbs when all is said and done. Barrow, Kwon, Tahj, Debo, Lamar and Phillips will be the group that brings speed to the defense as soon as they start playing faster.

The problem right now is that Minter called the plays and pointed everyone to the ball after the snap and we're missing that right now. Beckwith looked good and can make plays at mlb, but Barrow and Jones need to do a better job of diagnosing the plays before the snap.

People are a bit down on Debo, but I really like his speed on the edge. I think Barrow is still getting used to playing behind a much slower Rasco than he had with KeKe, plus he has much greater playcalling responsibilities. We really need him to step it up, and I think he will.

I'm not too worried about the secondary. Loston didn't play this week and it showed.White, Robinson and Mills will be solid in coverage and Eugene plays like his hair is on fire. Ricky J might eventually nudge Martin out of the starting lineup, which would give us as athletic a secondary as anyone. This defense will grow up a lot after that Ga game.

Things to improve/fix

1. MLB (Welter is slow)
2. Corner (we don't need a PP/TM7, just a guy whos in position and doesnt make mistakes)
3. TE production (glad Neighbors can catch ,still need a good catching TE)
4. Hill needs more reps to get in the groove, he looks bigger hope he hasn't lost a step against elite competition.

LSU's defense is extremely young, those guys are thinking too much right now. Young guys are worrying about their keys, proper angles etc...Once they get some quality snaps, they will just react and play much faster than they are right now. Florida is the only sec team with an elite defense, only problem for them is their offense is shite. I would put the tiger's defense right below them and right with Bama's. As good as Texas A&M's offense is, their defense is putrid. I think LSU can hold the aggies to 31 points while Georgia has the best balance along with LSU, that could be a shoot out similar to Bama vs A&M. I think LSU wins 10 regular season games this year.
