Yet the idiots on the board talking all that crap about Guice, don’t see anything wrong this picture.

For what? He’s being blackballed. Simple as that. The NFL owners are the most out of touch sports ownership in the world. It’s such a shame. They are the richest, most popular sports league in the world, and the screwing it up has started.

But many on here would not have had their climax about sending another LSU guy to the pros....and an ealy entry at that.

I like Guice, but things don't always necessarily work out the way everyone thinks it should

I also think Arden Key will be lucky if he's drafted....whoever gets Chark though, could be getting a steal

Did anybody else hear Adam S on First Take just say that Guice admitted to at least one NFL team that the story about the questions were fabricated??

Key should've come back, but not Guice.

He's going to go in the 2nd round, and I seriously doubt another year in college would've improved his draft stock enough to compensate for the year of lost earnings.

Remember, especially at RB, your career is limited. If a RB comes back for his senior year, he'll never get that lost year of earnings back. The ONLY way it makes sense is if he can dramatically improve his draft stock enough to make up for the lost year - but the NFL already knows what Guice is so I doubt that would happen.

Guice was smart to go. Maybe not smart about what happened recently, but he was still smart to go.

This is stupid. He's a RB.

1. Not usually a draft priority
2. Why take a chance on injury again
3. The uncertainty of team success makes coming back a risk

He will be fine. He did the right thing.

He'll get drafted
He'll prove that he should have been a #1
He'll get paid

No reason at all to come back and risk injury.

is relatively rare for RBs to be selected in the 1st round these days. Including this year, only 8 have gone in the first round in the last 5 drafts. No shame in falling to the second round -- that's pretty normal now.

Thank you. Knowledge is pwr

WTF are you talking about? Guice got hurt for part of the season and still had a very good year. Him opening his mouth was a sign of “maturity” and a-hole Goddell told teams to pass - Protect the Shield!

--------------------------------------------

What is so ironic is the ultimate goal of the players being get to the NFL [rather than the dual of getting a quality education for AFTER the NFL] so they can get into the fold. Then they are treated like a commodity by the owners. I wish the NCAA could do more about helping to couch and counsel all potential athletes and those in the process so that their decision making is more broadly informed. Give them the statistics and true data instead of a few jerks whispering into their ears that are going to make a buck on the kid.

Why would his value have gone up?
Lets wait and see the Round he goes with? That will answer this question.

If he doesn't go in the 2nd rd, something is up.

I think if he had returned for another year AND GOT HIS MIND READY FOR THE NFL, he'd have been a 1st rd pick.
