9/14 - at Arizona State L 30-32
9/28 - at Ohio State L 24-31
11/30 - Penn State L 24-31
1/1 - South Carolina L 24-34
so their worse loss of the year was to the only SEC team they played

No the game won't be easy and yes we have a lot of questions with all the new players, especially on O.
What we do know:
The O line is our strength and one of the best in the country.
Grimes will have them playing as a unit.
As good as Mett was as a passer, he was a one dimensional target at a time when the O line was not playing well. Either QB will give us an element of mobility if not a run threat.
Despite losing one of the best tandems at WR in LSU history we are deeper at TE and have an incredible number of young WRs fighting to win a starting gig.
Our 4 horsemen of the apocolypse: Fournette, Magee, Hilliard and Williams will wear teams down.
Defense: Our DBs are more skilled and experienced than last year. DTs are young but deep. Hunter is going to be Mingo good. LBs will be as good if not better.
I think we pull away in the 4th barring turnovers. And if we win this game we have a light schedule to get the young guns ready before the SEC schedule gets tough. I like the baptism by fire against Wisky. Our team will get to show that it has the "chest" to play at a high level.

My point was that it wasn't like Wisconsin lost to Illinois, Purdue, Indiana, or some other Big Ten bottom feeder. Wisconsin played well against some of the better competition on their schedule. Again, last year's team doesn't tell much about this year's Wisconsin team. They're replacing some important players on both sides of the ball.

i think it will be close throughout and we'll win the 4th quarter and thus, the game
something like 24-13
something like 24-13

I'm expecting some big plays from our running game. Magee, Hilliard, and Fournette will all look impressive IMO.

Didn't they get screwed at the ending on this game?

They also were clueless as to what was going on. Not just the refs fault.

Im going to trust CLM "damn strong" non-conference record and go Tigers -4

Les Miles has a great opening game record. We almost always play great football and have some nice wrinkles in our first match ups of the season (especially higher profile ones).

LSU fans keep thinking this is a walk in the park. LSU could very easily start the season 0-1 if they don't watch out. Wisconsin is better than TCU and this is a totally different LSU team. Could be interesting.
I see more of you with the worried approach than vice versa.. but LSU should still take care of Wisconsin.. only concern is youth at the QB position. LSU is better on both sides of the ball.

Lsu can only beat themselves .... No turnovers no problem ....

Wisconsin will have a better offense. LSU wins ugly 23-21.

I think it will be higher scoring than that. Both teams will probably have trouble stopping the run.

Wisc - 24
LSU - 30
LSU - 30

I have never known LSU fans to be afraid of Whisky... oops, I mean Wiscy... sorry.

Agree but both teams will also have a hard time completing a forward pass.
