... with a least 4 completed seasons at present school.

1. Urban Meyer 51-4 0.927
2. Nick Saban 106-18 0.855
3. Jimbo Fischer 69-14 0.842
4. David Shaw 55-14 0.797
5. Bob Stoops 179-47 0.792
6. Les Miles 112-33 0.772

What if this team grows up and still delivers TigerNation a special season this year?

If a change is required, let's make sure it's a step up for LSU.

Just a little truth, for some sobering perspective.

I think most appreciate what Miles did for us up until 2011. But since that point in time, he's regressed annually.

He's made promises and hasn't delivered. It's been tough to watch our offense struggle and have multiple nail biters each season that shouldn't be that way.

I'll always appreciate his time here and enjoy him as a person. But everyone should understand there are coaches out there that can produce more for LSU than Les Miles currently is.

He is one of the highest paid coaches in the country, with one of the highest paid staffs. What we've seen the last 6 games does not reflect that investment. At some point (which I assume was last November) you have got to sit him down and ask what we are getting for our investment. I really wish he would retire after the season and stay on good terms if the season is not a success.

frick off with that BS! 5 straight to Bama, hasn't sniffed the Top 5 at the end of a season since 2011.

How about 37-15 since 2011 freak offs. Nearly 1/2 of those 33 since 2012!
Keep pumping you freaking turd.

Kind of agree with this. The people who want to fire Les aren't feeling that way over one poor showing though. It boils down to the fact that they have completely lost hope in his ability to adapt and move LSU in a forward direction. I have to say I have lost hope in him also but would love to be surprised and him make changes and us succeed this year. I root for the kids who represent us, coach doesn't matter to me.

PonteVedraInnClub7171717 A Helluva lot has been written about Les Miles near dismissal as the head football coach at LSU last November, but let’s cut through the bullshite and get the following down on the barrelhead: If the state of Louisiana have had a pot to piss in Les Miles would have lost his job last November…PERIOD! LesMiles811818 In the end it was the FACT that the state of Louisiana was flat-broke last November that save Les Miles Precious arse and with thousands of folks in Louisiana hurting it would have looked very Damn bad to have sent Les Miles packing with a $18 Million Dollar buyout and there you have why Les Miles is still the head coach at LSU today. As for the reasons why Les Miles should have been fired last November let’s go Joe Friday and give you a Helluva good reason why Les Miles is very Damn lucky to have a head coaching job in Baton Rouge today: Since LSU lost to Alabama in the 2011 – 2012 Bogus BCS National Championship Game in New Orleans which encompasses the last FOUR college football seasons Les Miles has put up records of… Overall: 37 – 14 SEC: 20 – 12 OK…those aren’t bad Overall and SEC Win/Loss records over the past FOUR seasons for Les Miles at LSU…BUT….let’s go Joe Friday again and say this time… Just The Facts Ma’am JoeFriday888 ….because we are talking about LSU Football here where Bozo the Clown could recruit Top 10 Recruiting Classes each year and where Les Miles has averaged over the last EIGHT seasons signing the… No. 7 Recruiting Class in American according to Rivals.com Oh….but if you are landing Top 10 Recruiting Classes on a regular basis…as Les Miles has done at LSU…one would think that your Win/Loss records against teams with .500 or better records would be pretty Damn good…right? RIGHT…but NOT for Les Miles folks! Let’s bring Joe Friday in with the FACTS and as they say on the Bayou…these FACTS are not pretty! JoeFriday888 In the last FOUR seasons Les Miles LSU Football Teams have played…. 34 Games against FBS teams with .500 or better records and Les Miles’ record in those 34 games is… 19 – 15 (.559) In the last FOUR seasons Les Miles LSU Football Teams have played… 29 Games in the SEC against teams with .500 or better records and Les Miles’ record in those 29 games is… 16 – 13 (.552) Oh…that’s bad enough if not outright Very Damn Embarrassing for LSU Football….BUT….did we mention that Les Miles LSU Football Teams have lost… FIVE straight games to Nick Saban and Alabama?

How about 2-4 in the last 6 games with no apparent idea of how to turn it around short of playing patsies.

Has the college football landscape remained stagnant over the history of intercollegiate athletics?

Is LSU the same program now in terms of resources and facilities that it was 25 years ago?

Hey guys, I did not promote NOT making a change.

I just posted the truth today.

I also suggested that IF we make a change, we need to make sure it's a step up for LSU.

And, I asked what you would think, IF this team grows up and still does something special this year?

No pumping in my OP. Just reasonable factors to consider.

It's really amazing how many here KNOW the future and are ready to act now, on what they know the future to be.

I'm as frustrated as anyone with Miles' recent record and the quality of our play, and I agree that right now it looks like a change will be required, unless we see the improvement we have every right to expect.

And if we don't see that improvement, and we do have to make a Head Coaching change, I want only the most promising coach in America, someone who we believe will rank among the most elite coaches throughout his long tenure at LSU. We should settle for nothing less.

And I also want to erect a statue at Tiger Stadium for Coach Les Miles and send him out with utmost respect and honor.

But for now, I'm damn sure gonna give this Head Coach (who happens to be the most successful in LSU history) and this team more than just a single game, before I completely write them off.

Been posting this nugget when all the guys bring up the overall record. heres the last 4 years with Les. SUCK it:

Last 4 seasons Les Miles LSU Football Teams

against 34 FBS teams with .500 or better records and Les Miles’ record in those 34 games is…

19 – 15 (.559)

In the last FOUR seasons Les Miles LSU Football Teams have played…

29 Games in the SEC against teams with .500 or better records and Les Miles’ record in those 29 games is…

16 – 13 (.552)

If you truly are as upset as anyone with Miles' CURRENT record, why did you remind us of his overall record? He had a good run in the beginning. Now he sucks. End of conversation.
