Win vs #2 Oklahoma erases early season struggles

Just looked at the schedule; didnt realize we get them at home. This team should know who they are by then. Win that and they are fine.
With simmons on the team, a lot of eyes are on lsu every game. Most analysts understand the difference hornsby and victor make. take care of business and all is well.

It "erases" the December losses only if there are multiple wins over the likes of Vandy, UK, A&M and Florida that come before it. If not, it's just an upset win by a mediocre team.

Oklahoma on January 30??? Forget that game. We have Wake Forest on Dec 27 and then @Vandy, UK, and @UF in succession.
We can beat Wake if we play hard for 40 minutes. But those first three SEC games are gonna kill us I am afraid. If we could win even ONE of those first three SEC games, it would be amazing. After that, we may well develop into a good team but our early season struggles (Nov-early Jan) will hold us back come tournament time.

Exactly, it would not surprise me. Like last year we beat WVU and Arkansas on the road and lose to Missorri, twice to Auburn and get absolutely blasted and embarrassed by Tennessee at home.
