This would mean we won against Auburn and Florida to those who do not know the schedule. Honestly, if we beat Florida, I'll be pretty sold on CEO myself.

If we don't, will you pledge allegiance to a reasonable coaching search next time?

I don't need that to proclaim allegiance to O. He's LSU's new HC. He's a great person with great character and he loves Louisiana. I proclaim allegiance already.

I proclaim allegiance to LSU. We could have a broom with a clipboard as coach. If we win, I don't care.

Did you proclaim your allegiance to Miles when he made it to the National Championship Game undefeated?

If so, did that "allegiance" last more than one game?

Nothing is forever.

A couple 4th place (or lower) finishes in the SECW I'll personally turn on O just as fast as CLM.

Results buys "allegiance", name matters not. Last year, 2011, 2007, 10 wins or 8 wins... none of that matters. Produce, and I'll like you.

Do not produce... well, I'll put it like this: I tell my employees regularly "the people will change, or the people will be changed". Similar applies to LSU head coach.

I have said that I will give him a legit shot. I was slightly down on the hire, but keeping Aranda and getting Canada has me a little hopeful for this season. I will be in O's camp with a 10-2 season, and if we beat Alabama I am all in. Now if we are 9-3 with a loss to Florida again, im not happy.

We may not win the Sec but imo we will have a very good football team this year. Experienced starting qb.. returning all the oline but pocic and clapp can fill that role just as well. Those two factors have killed in recent years. And with Bama replacing their entire front 7 just about and only return Payne on dline I believe our oline matches up much better than usual.

Of course the lowering of expectations are in full effect. I just wish for once someone on here would admit the only reason they are happy that O is the coach is because he is from the bayou.

We have a solid offensive and defensive staff and one of the best recruiters as a head coach who is very aware of the pitfalls of the prior admin. Offensive scheme and head coach meddling. I don't see what's not to like until performance proves otherwise.

And pls stop mentioning the Florida game. We dominated in almost all facets of the game, yet the players couldnt hold onto the football at the key times.

So if he beats BYU, Chattanooga, Mississippi State, Syracuse, Troy, Florida and Auburn at home then your sold on O?

Les was 7-3 against Florida and never lost to Auburn at home.

Whe the fuch did we pay Les 10 mil to leave if we expect less from his successor?

I'll be sold on O when I see LSU in Atlanta in December.

I wasn't thrilled about the hire. I was hoping for Herman. That said, I'll give him a pass if he wins 8 games this year because any time you have a new coach things can get quirky now matter how good he is. Now if he has a losing season, or has 2 years in a row with less than 10 wins I'll dust off my pitch fork.
