other than Appalachian State, we have gotten everyone's "A" game this fall.Auburn's best offensive showing was vs us and so was State's.The North Texas game is hard to gauge too much, but Rice and Florida International (Fla Int'l ??) beat them as soundly,if not worse than we did.

Now,this isn't gymnastics,so 'style points' don't matter. And,the Miss State and North Texas games were never in doubt. But,there was some sloppiness in those two games.

I'm no Nervous Nellie. I'm forever told to 'take off (my) P&G glasses !' or the ever less and less impacting "rantard".

Its also true that we have moved to the head of the class,so everyone is up for LSU.Still,a lot of teams the last few years sure do give us their best shot(s).

I'll take a 36-33 win in Gainesville right now.I'm just a little concerned that for a title run, with all of our talent on defense,we sure do bring out the best of some of our opponent's stagnant offense.

Maybe Superman Tebow will bring out the best in LSU.

how much of this is the other team's A game, and how much of this is our team getting exposed a lil?

Well, for the latter,I don't know what else State could have done to cause concern and open some eyes.Hopefully, the week off did some good for us in terms of preperation.

SFP, I say stack the box on Tebow and Harvin and force Tebow to beat you with the pass, what you say?

That was the blueprint for Ole Miss' win at the swamp, if our young corners can step up, and if Lee can step up we, IMO, we can make some noise in the swamp.

i agree, and with ingram being out i think we have a better shot

thompson, nelson and company are great athletes, but crappy WRs. and TT isn't a good passer

you guys are freaking out over issues that can be easily corrected. i've said it before, LSU is as good as any team in the country. the common trait of all elite teams is how they improve from one game to the next. i expect LSU to improve in the secondary because darry is a leader and he is good at helping with aligning the younger guys.

This game has and always will be down to the wire, and one of the most physical games in the country. This game will define a team and show which one has the character and gritt to play for a championship. I bleed purple and gold and I know Les is MORE!!!! He will have the guys amped up and ready to play....

You won't be able to watch the whole game, bigjame. It will be too nervewracking.

Thats true... we did not improve defensively But I think we will we are still trying to find our identity as a team and we need a game like this to bring it all together and see how we react..

slow how many of the 15 yds or plus plays versus auburn or miss st was due to misalignment? it's not ability and that seems to me to be what you guys are implying. if theres a problem with getting plays in, i'm sure Miles has addressed this with peveto and mallory during this off week. if it continues then there needs to be cause for concern. i'm certain these issues can be corrected and if they dont it will cost us a game this year.
