Reiterated a lot of what was said in the presser, but worth a look.

Cliffs -

- Joe and Eddie visited him over the weekend and he could tell LSU was ready to get to the top of the SEC. Again used the word "aligned" to describe the AD and university admin.

- learned his recruiting strategy from Tommy Amaker

- "I'm a solutions based guy, love to solve problems. That's what my job is"

- "We're gonna be aggressive and we're gonna be relentless on both ends of the court. That's just-- that's my nature, that's who I am, and our team is going to take on that personality. ... We're going to be tough. We're going to be a tough, tough out. You may beat us, but you're going to work extremely hard to beat us, and you're going to know you were in a fight."

- On recruiting: "I think the in state talent is just phenomenal. Kids want to come to LSU from Louisiana." ... Will have "Louisiana flavor" on staff. Starts here at home, will expand to TX, MS, and to the east some but primary focus is LA.

- Wants great athletes who can play in the open court.

- First wants to begin forging relationships with players on team then start building relationships in the community over the next few weeks.
