About this atrocious, porous defense he’s trotting out there.

The lack of desire to close out and fight through picks is unacceptable.

He says it’s because we are out of position because of depth. Taylor having to guard 2s etc

It’s all about what you put emphasis on as a coach. It appears he doesn’t put enough on defense

Ok I’m sure your opinion matters to him. Why don’t you ask?

His defense has sucked for all three years at LSU. Feel free to do the Kenpom average. It’s worse than Jones’s six year average. Yet, everyone appears to be terrified to point it out.

It wasn’t a problem to call out Miles for his shitty offense. Or Maineri and his woes. But Wade is off-limits?

Bad decisions on going under the screen and no communication amongst the players on how they are going to defend it, where the screen is coming from, nothing.

Do you people not remember when we were losing every game we played a few years ago. We have the worst fans

Its funny most posters point to the 3pt defense but The problem is our guards cannot cut off dribble penetration. When you cant do that, there are wide open threes no matter how fast you close on shooters.

WW has spoiled a once soiled fanbase.

When you look at the roster and what we lost from last year and compare it to our current record, Wade looks like a miracle worker. This team has flaws no doubt about it but notching an 8-0 SEC record is impressive no matter how you spin it.

The lack of depth is rearing it’s ugly head right now and it leaves very little room for committing bad fouls and putting key contributors on the bench. I agree that we will need to grab 2 more victories on the road and win against UGA and aTm at home to breathe comfortably. I’m not expecting much for the Kentucky game to be honest. Just see how it plays out. Next year (with a full recruiting class) should show a different story.

We do have absolutely shitty fans. Perhaps the worse in the conference, couldn’t even sell a game out at 8-0 in conference play. From the Students down to the grey hairs at behind the benches our fanbase absolutely sucks. Even when there is a decent crowd, the stands are silent while on defense and gets loud while we move the ball up on offense. (If they ever get loud) It’s not the seats or the student location. It’s the lack of knowledgeable fans in the stands.

LSU shot a better percentage ovearall and from the three point line. BAMA won the game by making six more free throws. They got the home court advantage on calls today, some obvious some subtle like the foul call with .7 seconds left at the half giving BAMA a cheap two points.

LSU played hard and wanted it just as bad. A couple of wild bounces after missed shots left their shooters open for three point shots in the last minute or so.

I'd argue that the teams' intensity overall is not where it needs to be right now, consistently.

They had it for about 43 out of the 45 minutes against aub. Then for about 8 minutes against Mizzou. Nothing against Vandy or Bama. That can be corrected imo

More focus: grades, fundamental basketball, purpose
