They would be smart to do it at least two hours before the game. Better to make some extra money (especially when its going to help USCE)than no money at all. Two hours gives people time to change plans or drop what they are doing. It will be a shame if they dont.

CHANGE PLANS?!?!
Apparently, the average Tiger fan has his weekend plans etched in stone months in advance. There can be no changing of the plans. Besides, it's going to be too hot, SC is a mediocre opponent, blah, blah, blah...

If they sell tickets for $10 or $20 at the last minute, it's going to piss off the people who paid $40. Also, the ticket office is strongly urging fans to print their tickets at home. I'm not sure if Will Call and the ticket windows will be fully staffed.

If they drop the price, which I doubt, they won't wait till Saturday.

If they do it, they better do it today and publicize the hell out of it. Tomorrow is too late.

does it make season ticket holders mad they they paid full price to see LSU take on Western Montana State University? Does it piss them off when people pick up those tickets for $7 before kickoff?

Big woopy. 20k more tickets at =~= half price still means more money raised.
