Yes, I'm sure a 60+ year old coach who has rebuilt multiple programs from the ground up knows less than tRant on winning or the SEC gauntlet.

You guys have been sucking off Kelly since he got hired. Now you're questioning his decision making because he didn't play your favorite Quarterback?

Kelly is not Orgeron. I doubt he designs a team on a year-to-year basis, I think he has a vision on building a perennial program.

He seems to have done ok with the QB situation here, as of now: he got a 6th year guy (Brennan) to come back and take reps in spring and summer, knowing Brennan could likely run those QB drills at this point.
He got a talented proven starter from elsewhere to transfer in, Daniels would have been the returning starter on a team that won 8 last year. This, despite neither Daniels nor Kelly having ties to LSU before the bowls last year.
He kept last year's QB prospect (Nuss) from entering the transfer portal.
He landed a highly recruited 5 star QB (Walker Howard).

Gonna guess Kelly considers this year as a transition, one where he puts his system in place and goes about restoring LSU's luster in CFB. Success won't be about championships this year, it will be about getting everything "ALIGNED". The goal will be to set it up so that LSU will be winning 10+ games minimum, every year, with a shot at the playoffs almost every year.

Daniels found success as a freshman because he had a high draft round pick wide receiver.

Now he has four of those guys.

Biggest question is if he can make the right decisions in picking the right poison.

Yep. But you'd get DV'd into oblivion for even insinuating it.

This wasn’t my take.

I was simply asking a question as it’s BK’s first year in the SEC and there potentially being a learning curve and Daniels coming from the PAC 12.

Daniels throws well enough to have success in this league

historically, no. But Nuss looked completely overwhelmed last year.

But, changes of scenery can be good

It's amazing that no matter who we hire and who the QB is, the comparisons to years past with an idiot at the helm are always going to be there.

This ain't Miles guys!

Historically? Daniels has never played in the SEC. What are you referring to?

I just hope he's allowed to be a true dual-threat QB, as opposed to what we witnessed under Les.

Your time is now, Mr. Daniels.

Nick Marshall took Auburn to a natty... I'm sure Jayden can win in the right circumstances.

It’s not the same as running around the edge against Tulsa

Arkansas literally relied on KJ Jefferson's legs and throwing to Burks. Kentucky literally relied on Will Levis's legs and throwing to Wan'Dale Robinson. Bama literally relied on Blake Sims's legs and throwing to Amari Cooper years ago, same with Jalen Hurts.
