LSU will have majority.

Houston is a good destination city for LSU fans and has a huge LSU alumni base.

It seems, that in spite of the negativity here, LSU fans are buying a ton of tickets.

Most on here talk a big game....
At the end of the day, it's about supporting the university and being a fan/alum. Also, ton of fans that are NOT on tRant lol.

Interesting fact:

It is a shorter distance between the west tip of Texas and the Pacific Ocean than it is between the west tip of Texas and its east tip.

That's awesome! And very believable!

Read somewhere Monday that LSU had sold all but 1,000 of their tickets... Who knows? I would think it would be about 50/50.

I'm not sure about the MOST fans, but there will be some Tech fans (and I imagine some LSU fans, too) who bought their tickets through another Avenue than what the schools sell.
Tech travels pretty well, and for MOST Tech fans, this would be a very short travel...but, a Tuesday night game may be hard for some.
I bought mine online, because I wanted to pick my seats.
When Tech went to the CWS (in 2014) we were VERY well represented.

LSU sold out it's allotment in 2 days

I read somewhere that LSU was allotted 8,500 tickets and Texas Tech 10,500. Does anyone know how
these numbers were arrived? School request?

Surely that's not accurate, huh?

I have no idea - but I did read that somewhere and question it at the time. Maybe a misprint.

I tried like heck to get off for the game but I am off the week before and I am the only supervisor working that week. My boss told me I wasn't allowed to call in sick or die that week.
