Cool story bro.

You are more evidence of lsu "fans" that hate miles more than they like lsu.

I've been shouted down that your type didn't exist but you embarrassingly do

I'm proud of the fact that we kept Miles. Proof of how clueless this admin is, and how a fan base would rather some Yankee know nothing at the wheel instead of a competent football coach.

But hey, he's a nice guy.

People bitching then just give up your season tickets.

Plenty of people would love to upgrade to better seats and others to get the seats of those that upgraded.

If not stfu and support the Tigers regardless.

Yes. I may make a game or two but not as many. 3 hours is too far of a drive to watch this offense. And ive heard the same thing from several out of town fans.

Listening to Hannity and Ott today, it seems there was a split even in the money people. Some really wanted him to stay and some really wanted him to go. So I guess there would have been a disappointed contingent no matter what happened.

As far as the crowd - I think it will still be good. Lots of people want to see Fournette have another shot at the Heisman and more records. And a lot of the gameday crowd is more tied up into the social aspect/tailgating part of things. I'm not sure if that things like keeping or getting rid of Miles this year will impact their desire for that.

This comment is just dumb, real dumb. You really think if he goes 3-5 or 4-4 in the SEC in 2016 with no wins over AL, AR, or OM he will be retained after 2014/2015??? "Fans" would be dumb not to support the players who are the LSU program, all the other shite is out of their control.

Yall are coo-coo for cocopuffs.

Ticket sales will still be very strong. I see zero dropoff. We've been through this shite before, negatigers say the world is ending and they might as well close tiger stadium forever. Then it always turns out that it is slam packed for the big games and still sells out a very high % of the shitty games. Yawn, not a new story.

Look at the SEC record over the last few years. Knowing then what we know now, we'd all have bet the farm he'd been canned.

He's still here.

There might be a slight (5%) drop in donations, but I doubt anything of significance.

In 2014, TAF had about $50 million in donations. 5% is a lot of money.

If there are 800 people in attendance at the spring game that will be probably just a little more than there is any way

I'll be playing golf and grilling more steaks on Saturdays in the fall.

Tiger Stadium is dead.

Why won't anyone talk about how there were only 80,000 fricking people in the God damn stadium "supporting Miles"?

Next time Miles is on the hot seat... Im gonna boo the shite out of him so the administration doesnt confuse respect for yearning.

I hear people crowing how the $ will dry up. bullshite. Money = power. If the guys with the big $$ stop the flow, they lose their power. They lose their inside connections, access to coaches, etc. LSU football is a magnet for these types, and they might bitch some, but I guarantee you they'll still be stroking those checks.

That's why I don't think Miles really gained the upperhand. In end, he works for the big money guys. I give LSU about $8K/year, which is a lot for me, but I'm a freaking peon to the big boys. Les is renting his spot, but the Board and TAF, those guys own the plantation. They will not give that up.

Those guys are pissed they didn't get their way and know exactly what not to do next time. If Les keeps up with the crappy offense and doesn't get it fixed, he won't be here much longer.

Withholding money can be just as powerful as giving it. The TAF relies heavily on donations. Don't think for a second that some of the big boys won't reduce donations if they aren't getting their way. I'm not saying I agree with the system, but that is the way it is.

Of course most fans will support the team. They will be very good and beat the teams they're supposed too early in the year. If they look shaky and poorly coached like most of this year (QB, Spec teams, def, penalties) the excitement will be guarded and most will expect losses to the better SEC teams like lately.

If they look like 2011 (pounding teams they should) the hope and excitement of all fans will come back for the SEC season

After the shite show they let play out without firing him this year? I couldn't have wanted him gone more but it didn't happen.
