Will Taylor start again this upcoming season at FS?

I thought Taylor did pretty good last year minus a few plays. I With the year of experience under his belt, he should improve and be quite a player. Him and Loston would be my safeties. Hatcher wasnt decent but I didnt think he was better than Taylor.

Taylor must be a hell of a player if the coaches just threw him in the starting safety spot for a year! Im cool with whatever the coaches decide.

Taylor can't cover worth a damn. But he was good at safety as long as he is not matched up man with a receiver. Him at corner seems totally wrong

man i remember when the rant was ecstatic when brandon taylor saw the field at corner against troy. things change too fast.

If Jai doesn't start, I think it will be because he's not as good as Claiborne.

Taylor will probably start somewhere. Possibly at corner along with Peterson. I would like to see starting Loston and Taylor at safetys and Claiborne and Peterson starting at corners.

Did you start this thread because DD said he'd be playing corner?
I just don't see it. He got burned multiple times when matched up with a WR but he plays a great cover 2 and is a good tackler.
either eugene or claiborne should start at the other CB spot.
Eugene is a solid tackler with tons of experience at CB.
Hatcher and Taylor rotated last year and I think they will do the same until one really steps up.

IMO Taylor should start at SS and Loston at FS. I think Hatcher might be a good option to play the LB position Coleman played last season. Jai should start oppostion Peterson and Claiborne in the Dime package. I would also like to see Brooks get a look at WR and PR. Atleast we get an early glimpse with spring practice starting next week.

No offense to Brandon...but it's kind of bad right now we don't have a better guy to start at safety than himself (Loston excluded assuming he starts on the opposite S spot).
