I don't hope it's necessary, just wondering what you guys think.
ETA: If you're going to put a premium on winning conference games by sacrificing the midweek to an extent, then I think you have to make him available. I'd rather see him before I see Kiel if it's a tight game, that's for sure.

Always available. It's just whether we need him or not. It's not like we save people for midweek games.
We prep them for sec games.

I would say yes, but if we don't have to use him, he could certainly start against a hot Southeastern team.

I think he'll be available for an inning or 2 if needed. Probably why we threw him Tuesday instead of Wednesday. But I'm sure the plan is to not use him and keep using him during midweek games to develop as a 4th starter. Hopefully if he is used it is b/c we are up double digits and use it as a chance to get some SEC experience.
