I figure some of the "inside experts" have all the answers on this. To be serious though, the secondary desperately needs him back. I've been critical of Thomas at times, and rightfully so, but he made a hell of a play the other night in the end zone, if my intoxicated memory serves me correctly (I haven't seen the replay of the game yet). I was shocked with Jefferson the other night, tbh. He was beaten and out of position on several plays. Don't know what was going on there. I know Key blew an assignment once...but I think we give him a little more slack....bottom line is that the secondary desperately needs Mills back, and a healthy Mills, imo, will make a huge difference in the issues that the secondary is facing right now. It's also time for Tolliver to take that next step, as PP did in the second half of his fresh season. Also, and I wouldn't want an unhealthy Mills out there, but maybe if he is 100% he can help out the special teams?

he looked lost when he was out there Saturday, I hope he gets more reps this weekend, we need him ready.

He will play more, keep in mind, he's coming off a significant injury and you could tell he was still not 100%. Still not in game shape.
He was burnt on one of those late drives and it would have been the tying touchdown but T Harris did not see him.

I know we had to burn a TO in 2nd half when he was in there b/c he was unsure of his assignment. He was looking towards the sideline & gesturing like - I thought he was supposed to help fix this. Hopefully he'll settle back in this week.

Jefferson is a better tackler but mills is the better cover guy.

Tolliver looked completely lost all game. Powell made him look terrible.

Toliver is still a freshman and Powell is very elusive. Toliver will continue to grow he is definitely not a liability in coverage for us.
