Knowing Miles, no. He DGAF about redshirts, especially for RBs.

Well we are already down our starting RB for the foreseeable future. And a kid like Hill is not going to be around for four years whether he redshirts or not this year.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Hill had 4 to play 5. If he graduated in 2010 and sat out last year how could he red shirt thismyear and still have 4 years? Just asking..

I didn't know about blues injury. That sucks. I was halfway joking about the redshirt thing anyway. Just trying to find something to bitch about.

Because the kid is talented. Because the kid has already sat out a year after graduating HS. I doubt he would wait 4 more years before entering the draft.

If ford got 10 caries he would have more then 40 yards.

And, he is probably the most effective back against bama. Not that anyone cares or anything.

Thanks I was always under the impression you had 5 years to play 4 after your high school class graduated.

This guy is too good to just be returning kicks. IMO he should be the "number one" in a stable of extremely talented backs. He's got the speed and the strength to either run between the tackles or turn the corner and get to the outside. And yeah I know Hilliard had the 70 yard run tonight but I don't se that happening that often with him. Ford is probably our quickest back who can burn secondary players. I just never understood why he never played more.

Because he's not as good as you think he is.

Blue is the #1. He's the best RB on the team son.

When fans get smart, then Michael Ford will get, "the Touches He Deseres"

Whatever "Deseres" means.

That's because Ford is our best option RB. No Jefferson = less Ford.

Hill could've been inserted in the first 2 games of the season but the staff waited until Blue suffered his injury before giving Hill his first playing time. People should be more worried about Blue's injury than Hill's red-shirt. LA produces RB's with similar talent to Hill almost every year. The LSU staff feels good about landing Fournette and Brossette right after him.

I was told by a player on the team that redshirting Hill " is the plan"

this was maybe a week before the season started

During that same time, Les Miles has stated in multiple interviews that Hill will play this season.

Why give MF touches when we can burn Jeremy Hill's redshirt?

redshirting Hill was never an option. Guy already sat out a year of football.

Yeah, it was nothing any of the other backs could not have done. Hill will get his chances, but he doesn't even need to play this year. LSu is ridiculously deep at RB

Why does it matter if Hill plays? Louisiana will never stop producing elite RB's and recruits notice which programs play their true freshmen. Leonard Fournette is an example of a RB recruit who follows the games and practices.

Love Ford, but he's in REAL LIVE COMPETITION with his fellow Tiger running backs. And a lot of those dudes are also phenomenal.

You want to fight for the brightest spotlight, this is it. Because everyone will know you earned it.
