I would love to see Etling start but with this coach everyone's guess is good as mine. I would like to see some play of McMillian more as well.

I don't know, but something is clearly wrong with Les Miles. He needs help.

Etling is a good player, however, it won't matter. The second half proved the same old offense we have become accustomed to. No creativity, jammed up formations. This O will be exposed when we play a quality opponent, regardless of who is in the backfield.

Jefferson gave the pictures to Harris.

That's all you need to know.

Those are not the only two choices. It is a tough question because it is not yet clear that Etling, as much as we loved the way he wasn't Harris last night, will be able to play as well through the SEC schedule. We can debate the reasons that LSU is in that position, but I don't believe the question about who starts comes down to whether or not someone will be pampered.

Just my guess. But while listening to the post game comments from Les I thought that Etling would not start. But then he made more statements and I got the impression that Etling probably would get the start.

A QB needs to be a leader, BH hitting the tunnel before he was suppose too could also be that tipping point to let Etling start.

I honestly don't think that final decision was made at that point although the lean is probably towards Etling.

Im beyond hot right now. Watched his post game presser last night and the way he was talking about DE16 made it obvious as to why he hasn't started. Less thinks he's not very good. Less was quick to throw the WR's under the bus last week after Harris went 3 for 8 in the first half. DE goes 6 for 8, 100 yards, and a TD in a quarter and Less critiques him saying how he far from perfect and missed a lot of open guys. Frick you Less... I wish I had a monkey that would fling feces at you.

Yeah something is wrong his arse is burning. And I really think he knows this is his last year unless some miracle happens, which Etling did inspire the offense and defense a little.

Maybe Les just doesn't want to crown Etling just yet in an effort to motivate him this week. Etling will start next week. I guarantee it.

If Miles wants ANY chance to save his job Etling gets ALL the first team snaps this week and the start, and he knows this...

He's not stupid, he knows he lost the crowd, as soon as this crowd turned last night he knew he had no choice but to make a change...

When has Les ever thrown his QB under the bus in an effort to motivate him? Please link. Don't recall JJ, AJ, BH getting that sort of treatment. Frick this dude.

Etling will start but he will have Les calling the 2 receiver run, run, pass. Les will not be showed up by an OC again!

My wife and I definitely got the impression that LM was not happy, even with the comfortable win.

I could see Miles benching Harris because he didn't partake in cum bah ya post game.

Pretty sure Miles bases his decisions on stupid shite like that anyway.

Direct quote from Les:

quote:

Danny was not perfect by any means, but he made a number of quality decisions of getting the ball to the right guy. He got the ball where it was supposed to go."

Do you disagree?

Seems perfectly reasonable.

Miles needs to name a starter quickly and let them play the first quarter.
I don't want a qb that is scared to play because les is going to pull him first chance he gets
