Fournette did nothing on the biggest stage. Yes, the line got dominated but it's not like he was breaking tackle

Hard to break tackles when you're getting hit in the backfield by multiple tacklers virtually every play, and still being asked to run up the middle time after time. You think maybe Less' "imaginative" game plan contributed to his performance?

Henry has been gettting pimped by Saban for the Heisman the last half of the year. He probably was offended LSU was getting the championship and Heisman hype over his own team.

Has a defense ever won a player a Heisman like Bama looks to be doing. They get the three and out and Henry gets to mop up stats on the tired opposing defense.

Why go to New York for some stupid ceremony to give another Gump a trophy when you can go meditate on the levees?

Here is a comparison of Fournette vs. Henry against common opponents.

Fournette

167 touches
1100 yards
10 TDs
6.6 yards per play

Henry

200 touches
1177 yards
8 TDs
5.9 yards per play

The analyst say that Fournette disappeared down the stretch.

Common Opponents: Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Miss St., Ole Miss, Texas A&M

It's not about how you get your yards or against whom, it is WHEN.

If we lose the same 3 games in September, but play Auburn, USC, and UF in November, Fournette is in the mix right now. He wouldn't win because Henry finished with 2 more games, regardless.

He is getting fricked for not having a good game against Bama and only having 11 games.

No he is not. Life is not fair, he will use this as motivation knowing what type of competitor he is and come back next year even stronger and better.

All of the guys mentioned deserve it, but as others have said he will not want to go to just watch. He needs to use this to drive the other guys in the offseason to get better and become and even better leader.

The bs some people say that it is about the best player on the best team, I am sorry but it has always had that component. If you are truly the most deserving player you will your team to success no matter what.

My vote: Christian McCaffery
