Its how some lsu posters are. They vastly overrate lsu when we are undefeated and then when we lose 1 game we arent worthy of having a program. The entire lsu tigerdroppings site is built upon this attitude.

The year you were referring to earlier was 2012. It's easy to remember 2012 because that's the year Stony Brook provided us all with a healthy dose of reality.

We were the number 7 national seed if I recall correctly and we went undefeated in mid week games that year.

I understand the point you're making and it's valid. When you're a lower national seed there are usually two or three other teams that have just as good a case for getting that seed as you. You don't want to give the committee any reason to look at them more favorably than you. We drop one or two mid week games in 2012 and perhaps we're not a national seed.

We'll never know how the committee would have seeded us in 2012 with a couple of more loses but you and the other poster are right. All these games matter when you're one of four or five teams looking to get those last two national seeds.
