It depends on the success. If we're a top 5 offense I could see him getting a head coaching job.

I think unless he is offered a NFL head job, he will finishe his contract.

I agree. I think the only threat would be a NFL job. I hope he stays though.

I don't think he's "one & done" but a guy who's been a HC & OC in the NFL isn't going to be satisfied being a college assistant for very long. If the upward trend with LSU's offense continues & Jennings turns out to be the QB that we are all hoping he will be, the offers are going to start rolling in for Cam. I don't know if he's got aspirations to be a HC in college or if he wants back into the NFL but I don't think he'll be here for the long haul. I say enjoy him while we have him, let his presence serve LSU well in recruiting offensive talent, & when he's gone, LSU will be a better offensive program than when he showed up.

He's due to make a ton of $$ next season. I'm thinking 3 years max.

Think the chief - he's a better coordinator than he is a head coach and he knows it... no shame in that either.

this guy has made his rounds, he's got a kid just starting high school in BR that I am sure he wants to watch play. Being the offensive coordinator is a lot less responsibilities than a HC.

He's got a super bowl ring, I think he's done being the head man. The only way I think he leaves is if he's offered the o-coordinator position by an esteemed NFL franchise - Pittsburg, New England, San Fran, Indy, Denver or Dallas type

I think he stays until he gets a ring, after that all bets are off.

I think he's a true teacher and he'll stay for years to come.

"We pride ourselves on not getting too involved in outside noise," running back Jeremy Hill said. "That's something [offensive coordinator Cam] Cameron has always said. We go to work. We put our hard hats on every day at practice. And we practice the way we play."

You're probably right to bring up the Chief. Still I think he'll stay a good while. The guy has plenty of money, a great career. Now it's really about developing new talent, inspiring young people, and you get to be on staff with Les, your lifelong friend. For most people, something like that would be better than retirement. I'm not sure what his ambitions are, but he's been around. He's probably right where he wants to be.

because the ravens are still on the hook for 1M his contract at LSU is structured so that he'll make more as an OC at LSU than in the NFL

Yep. I think he's here as long as Les is TBH. I think he's ready to settle down. He's done it all, and probably wants to spend time with his kids while continuing to build an elite program with a life long friend.
