Will be a different baseball feel on Friday nights

Last year we had the luxury of solid confidence Skenes would pitch lights out and get us a win in the first game of each series. Let’s hope our staff depth this season works out to keep opponents off balance all weekend long. Geaux Tigers!

Really was amazing. Best season of all time from a college pitcher. Just absurd. Feel like it wasn't even real.

Skenes may be be gone, but I'm just looking forward to Friday night baseball, regardless. The season can't get going fast enough.

Late in the season I actually felt kind of bad for opponents. It really wasn’t fair sending a grown arse man out there to pitch to boys.

To be fair it did not start off that way. Yes as the season progressed we became very confident we would win every game he pitched but it did not start off that way because we did not know Skenes was going to be what Skenes became. We all knew he would be good but did not see him being that dominant for the entire season.
Side note: I still wish that damn lightning delay never happened in Columbia SC. I do think we settle in and win that game with Skenes still on the mound. Outside the few long balls he was mowing down the hitters.
