How so??? RP played a few snaps during the season and then was voted [MVP] of the SEC title game and the fans were craving the 2008 season on how GREAT LSU'S offense was going to be....

RP got booted from the team. RP lack of success had nothing to to with his talent.

ALL people were talking about after THAT game and for the upcoming season was how we were gonna have a GREAT OFFENSE because of how JJ played in the Bowl game....

If you watched that game you would know that 60% of their drives ended in turnovers.

I think we all had very low expectations after 2008, but now saying JJ played lights out is dumb. he didn't really do anything, and GTech sucked.

Why are you calling Cam a "dumbass"?

I am sorry that you misunderstood Lonnie, I was calling you a dumbass. When it is all said and done we will see who has had the better career at LSU. Now if by some crazy circumstance you are actually Cam, then you are trolling cause you can bet that Cam knows BH is better too.

He was 9-20, for goodness sake. People were excited because there were no pick sixes. Put THAT in your ALL CAPS and smoke it.

Jennings will have more big games before he is gone. Jennings is a Sophmore and Harris is a True Freshman. You know Les Miles well enough by now that there is no way a Freshman will start over a Sophmore.

I didn't misunderstand.

I don't care who has the better career. They both play for LSU and I don't have any investment in which QB starts. As long as LSU is successful, Cam can start the freaking water boy.

That being said, picking a horse in this race before we have seen the 1st game action for one of the guys is more that a tad premature. imo

Both are talented but I'm putting my faith in Harris....the Arky drive was spectacular....the Iowa game not so much for AJ. He didn't do much at the spring game to inspire much confidence either.
Miles will prolly start AJ in the opener.....that's how miles rolls.
If AJ steps on his pecker early in the season, I would hope miles would have the sense to pull the trigger.
One can only hope....

Actually he was 16 of 25. He also had an 86 yard TD pass called back on a BS penalty. So you are looking at 17/26 (65.3%) for 228 yards and 2 TDs. He also added 25 yards on the ground. Scott was not the great player everybody thought he was in that game either. I watched that game a couple weeks ago and he was not the same as he was during the reg season. Also QB carries for 65 yards and 3 TDs shows that he was ineffective and basically was a goaline RB for that game. We actually didn't run that well either. The fact that we won that game was based solely on how sloppy GT played and how good Miles gameplan for the bowl game was.

Like i said 60% of their drives resulted in turnovers. That is an insane statistic. Defense at them alive.

I think that game proved that you can't win big with the Triple option. IT is too easy to defend with time time to prepare. Assignment football.

That's fine. He made some nice plays throwing the ball and extending plays. AJ had more problems taking sacks both in the bowl game and the spring scrimmage than I expected.

I didn't think AJ's bowl game was a bad as some make out. It was a wet field and the Iowa D wasn't that bad. He missed on some passes and seemed a tad unsure on some plays. Overall, for a true Fr 1st start I didn't think it was all bad.

If AJ starts, it will be cause Miles/Cam think he's the best or there isn't much difference and they are going with the guy who has seen action as opposed to the guy who gas seen no action.

Anyway, its probably better for Harris, less pressure, if he doesn't start but comes in later. If Harris does start, well, that's a big time statement by the staff. imo

That's physically, mentally Brandon is in another league than Anthony. He has the confidence and a winners mentality. Anthony just doesn't seem sure of himself.

. It was being f said just last year that AJ was the future goat and could do no wrong. Now all of a sudden the guy has one marginal game and he sucks for life.

Oh and by the way, the incoming freshman is the best ever and surpasses him even though he has never played a game.

This is why I hate the Rant and the recruiting board. ADD mentality abounds and people think like teenagers.

That is not the case here at all. If you don't want to listen to the rant listen to people who are supposed to know. BH is the real deal.
