Why would the refs not go to the monitor for offensive goaltending?

Even if the video shows he didn't touch it, or is inconclusive, shouldn't they have been required to at least look?

This looks pretty clear to me.

Jones could have called a timeout to make sure they did. But he didn't. Kept the last 3 in his pocket.

This has nothing to do with Jones or timeouts. He was 90 feet away from that play. The refs should have checked it, even after the clock ran out...

Because it wasn't goal tending. There was a angle that clearly showed he didn't touch the ball.

I was more curious to see of there was more than 0.1 on the clock. Of course JJ had unused timeouts...

Yeah the amount of time left should have actually caused them to stop the game and review it. Pretty sure they have done that in every other game.
