Why will we be any better next year?

This is the reason that Jones needs his arse run out of town STAT. There is 0% hope this team even makes the NIT next year. Why not start the rebuilding process now and make a splash hire. The entire university administration is a joke. Invest a little and put a winner on the court and the athletic department will have even more money they can spread back to the university.
Second they need to disassociate themselves with Dale Brown and Collis Temple. What gives them the right to control the basketball program? This is especially true in Browns case who not only stayed way past his prime as the game passed him by, but he hurt the program even further with the sanctions that were levied against us.

false. Athletics and Academics are separate. The Athletic Department has it's own money. If the budget were the case, then JJ, BeBe and all the other coaches who've recently gotten extensions wouldn't have gotten them. Aranda would not have been hired or wouldn't be making as much.
We have an idiot at AD who is fine with sucking and being sub-par in basketball with a coach who has no fire. I respect the fact that JJ played for Daddy Brown, but we need someone who can take the talent on this team to where it should be.
Either not getting invited to the NIT or turning down the invitation (whichever version of the story you believe) is just pathetic.

I say our record next year will be around 11-22, overall, and around 6-12 in the SEC.

It makes you wonder if Aleva cares what the records of the LSU teams are. And worst of all, we are coach-limited in most major sports, ala football, men and womens hoops, and to a degree, baseball. Too bad there are no pictures of Aleva in a compromising position.
