Why/who did not allow WW to have representation at the meeting with Alleva and NCAA?

I honestly have not seen a link or source for this. I’m curious why, especially with the recent success of the basketball program, why would you set this precedence on a coach that has had such a dynamic impact on the program.

The whole story is a complete sham invented by the LSU Admins. WW spoke to his boss when the crap came down...twice. Why the Admins are looking for a reason to fire him for cause is beyond me.

It’s truly a sad day for LA if this is the case. This is the best we have to offer for the position of AD for LSU

Find this hard to believe. WW would have said in his statement that he met with them.

Alleva needs to be fired because of the way he handled this...... tells me he is not really the one in charge.

Wade needs to coach. The players and their parents want this, the fans want this. The truth about what is really going on is not being shared. Alleva is incompetent. ...

Joe your story will be exposed eventually. The local media needs to ask the ones affected. Go back and look at Ed Waters interview from SEC tournament.

Can’t reveal my source, but I spoke with a BOS member who remains adamant that they want to have the NCAA present in all discussions with Wade. They want to avoid “Lack of institutional control” at all costs. Wade would talk without NCAA present. I don’t agree with their sentiment but that is how they view it.. they want to protect the university first and foremost.

I can understand that. It sucks, but unfortunately that’s where we are now.

So since NCAA was involved was that the reason his counsel couldn’t be present?

Most of the BOS needs to be replaced, but the first step is to oust that idiot JBE.

Because they hate sold-out arenas and soaring merchandise sales obviously. Also growing donations to the university.

It’s very unfortunate. They’re not making any moves until after the trial, not going to be preempted by any external pressure.. could bite them in the arse if Wade decides to say frick it and look elsewhere

The BOS member more or less alluded that “Lack of Institutional Control” would afford the NCAA the ability to look in other areas more than they wanted. I can understand their hesitancy

So even if you’ve done nothing wrong, with lawyer in tow, you can’t meet admins? I understand them looking out for football but what I don’t understand, is why not just fire him if they are that worried about sanctions?

frick this shite. If they take CWW and obliterate our BB program then I want it burned down to the point of a complete overhaul of administration including BOS.

If Wade can’t (or won’t) be saved then I don’t give a shite what happens.

Except for Beth. She hasn’t done anything wrong and I love watching her teams play.

I don’t blame him. Wouldn’t you?

Termination without cause should cost this university a shitload of money. Maybe that would force someone’s hand to make changes to the admin.
