Why the hype with Arkansas?

They beat LSU & OM coming off the most disappointing losses imaginable and a terrible Texas team. They lose the "Three-headed monster" They will dwell near the bottom again.

Arkansas only has preseason to be excited about. Reality always sets in when season starts

Arkansas is looking like an 8-4 team next year, 9-3 if we pull our usual play down to them game. They return most of their offense, an experienced QB and their defense really improved last year as the season progressed. If they can get decent replacements on the D-line and linebacker they could be legit. The hype may be real.

No one in the SEC should be overlooked- besides, they whipped us last year- who are we to say anything negative about Arkansas??

Big offensive line, good RB's. They'll need a better defense to compete but their putting together a pretty good offensive system very quickly.

Arkansas doesn't reload. That defense will take a step back, but the offense should actually be better.
Allen in his third year starting, they have Hatcher at WR and the best TE in the SEC. Bring back the beast OL and both beast RBs. I see their ceiling at 7-5.
