Students left at halftime. And yet they still manage to complain about tickets.

I had 6 different people offer me free tickets to last night's game for some reason.

Do you know how hard it is to get to a game on time, and stay the whole game 8 times a year?

It filled in about 6 minutes into the game and the same sections emptied out before halftime.

i once had a conversation with a tiger player who told me that this was a goal for the team. they wanted to make the fans leave at halftime.

don't get too upset.

Not hard at all......been doing it for 20 years.

Would you turn off the TV at halftime if you were watching the game at home. I don't get it why people leave early.

And it seems like it is only getting worse. It's a fricking embarrassment. I really feel bad for the players. It's a slap in their face and shows how terrible our fanbase has become.

All the hard work and effort the players and coaching staff put in to be a premier football program and our fans cant even sacrifice 3 hours of their life for 8 weeks a year. fricking terrible.

There was a lot of other people that left other than students.

Need more like you. It's pathetic. Hell at this point you can't even use the traffic as a reason to leave, looks like the longer you stay the less traffic you have to fight.

For me, I work my arse off during the entire work week. And I stay to very end.

It's one of several things that I truly enjoy, win or lose, for 3 + hours out of my life, that I get to watch with no outside distractions.

Are you fricking serious? The only people that should be embarrassed are the Washington players for that pathetic display.

Why does it piss y'all off so much? Did you stay for every down when you were students here?

Here was may day yesterday :
Dropped off supplies at tailgate spot at 6:45 am. Drove to Breaux Bridge so my 10 year old could compete in the Petit Tour du Teche kayak races starting at 8:00am. Races finished at 10:00. I then drove to a soccer tournement in Lafayette and watched my 13 year old play soccer games until 2::45. Rushed back to Baton Rouge, showered, changed and made it to tailgate for 4:30 with two 10 year olds and a 13 year old.

YES I left with 10 minutes to go in fourth quarter. I am a bad fan. I also had to get the kids up a 5:30am this morning so we could leave Baton Rouge to be back in Lafayette for 7:00am warmup for an 8:00am game which we one. I'm now waiting for the 1:30 championship game to start. When that's over, it's back to Baton around so the 10 year old can hit soccer practice at 4:30.

So. I'm a bad fan that left a little early. Maybe some people that leave early are making a hell of an effort to even be there.

That's a good question. I mean you have only a few opportunities to see LSU play, but you have every day to over eat and get drunk.
