Everyone blaming Cam and Les, Harris has had opportunities to throw the ball for positive outcomes and he has failed time and time again. Like they don't let him throw in practice? Like he cannot throw extra on his own time if that is what is needed? Amazes me how for the most important position on the field and no one will hold Harris accountable. (and I'm not bashing the kid personally, I think he worked at improving from last year but he just does not have it when LSU needs a passing game to be effective).

People will blame QB development, because that has been a trend here with LSU offenses for quite a while now.

And they're certainly not wrong.

However, Harris played awful on Saturday, and some of that is on him. I believe in him, though, and hope he improves before the bowl game going into next season.

Maybe get him a few more reps during those games where Fournette was running for 260 yards against lesser teams?

Cam and les are making Millions to coach 'em up. Harris is a college student playing for a scholarship. And he is very talented

The only talent he shows consistently is a big arm. Absolutely nothing else. High ceiling and lots of potential, yes. Very talented, not so much.

I agree, I don't see the "huge talent" others see. He does not make those special plays with things break down like other "talented" QBs. He has had the opportunity to make plays but he doesn't. And for those on Cam, how do you know he is not spending more than enough time to coach him up but Harris just not executing in the games.

But going forward, Harris is the best option we have at QB so we take it for what it is.

I'm hoping for a Jr. college transfer QB so we can get someone already coached up. Seems to be the only way it will work out

It seems likes it is a confidence issue. He doesn't believe in himself. In games towards the end of the season it seemed as if some of the offensive players started to not believe in him as well. Im sure he makes all the throws in practice, but things change, mentally, for him in games.

right now, he sux. plain and simple. i was his biggest suppoter, but how much coaching really goes into a 5 yard touch pass? i'll bet he breaks backboards playing pop-a-shot and skeeball.

I honestly think it is more about his confidence. Miles shows zero confidence in his QBs to win games anymore. That translates to on the field performance. So you have a kid who has all the tools, but Miles does not allow his kids to make the mistakes that requires them to grow into better players. I bet the first thought Harris had when he threw the INT against Bama was, coach will not let me pass it anymore. I get the interception stuff, but really at some point you got to let the kids play and learn from mistakes in a positive way. If you are not going to, they why recruit such good talent.

He'll be cruising around with his buds looking for snatch at the basketball game. That's how he works on his game.

U can brag all u want about Harris, but we all know he sucks. If we don;t find a QB soon u had better be willing to hope we win 8 games yearly.

This.

And at some point, after several highly rated QBs come in here and fail, you have to look at coaching.

Really tiring of the blame on Miles and Cam about Harris. At some point, he has to be able to execute with more accuracy and touch the basic short and intermediate throws. It's on him...the coaches have given him the ball all season.

Do you not remember them trying that. Was it the eastern mich game where we tried throwing it a lot in the first half and we found ourselves up only one score? Coaches had no choice but to let Fournette do his thing in the second half to secure a comfortable victory.

Harris was 4-14 against eastern Michigan. He has been bad throughout the season.
