Why last night's playcalling was disappointing

Here's my biggest problem with the playcalling given the QB play last night. Last year, it was pretty apparent the best thing for the team was to go full on conservative because Jennings just didn't have the ability and Harris wasn't ready. The coaches have to do what's best to put the team in the best position to succeed, considering the ability of your personnel.
Last night, there was no reason whatsoever to be so conservative past the first half of the first quarter. Brandon Harris showed that he could execute in the passing game. There was not one read he made last night that was wrong, or any throw he made to get the coaches not to trust his ability to execute the passing game. He showed he could make every throw and read called upon him, but the coaches still pulled the reins back. We won, but there is no doubt it was detrimental to the team in the 2nd half.
Brandon Harris could have thrown for 250-300 yards last night if we had wanted him to. I'm not saying that type of playcalling would have been the best for last night with the way LF was running, but certainly should have had more than 71 yards in a way that could've struck a balance between the run and throw putting the team in a position where we didn't need to rely on a missed kick.
Point is, Jennings didn't have it last year justifying the playcalling. Harris clearly has it, making the playcalling last night inexcusable.
