What makes you think the Gumps would use perfectly good roofing material for their trailers to cover some grass?

When's the last time you saw a tarp on a football field?

It's been a while the Panthers game on Monday does seem like forever ago.

When have you ever seen a tarp on a football field?

Seriously, if you have a pic I'd like to see it because I've never seen one.

Sounds like they have a drainage system similar to Tiger Stadium...suppose to drain quickly, no tarp needed.

Could it be most fields today are the artificial type? why suffer the bad conditions when its possible to avoid it.

Les Miles Field at Tiger Stadium didn't drain all that quickly at the WKU game. It'll be a sloppy track tonight even if it doesn't rain another drop.

From the colts website

quote:

Weather Update -It has been raining since the Colts landed in Charlotte late Sunday afternoon. Rain is forecasted up until kickoff with chances for precipitation decreasing as the night goes along. Temperatures are hovering around 60 degrees. A tarp has been on the field of Bank of America Stadium for all of Monday.

Not having a tarp system for AT LEAST between the hashes is idiotic at this point in time.

Especially when it's 100% before game time. I don't care if they drain fast, you still have wet soil under wet grass.
