Last time I remember playing Tenn was 2011 at their place. What is the reason of this?

Not sure but if you're able, I recommend going. We got the usual ribbing but the fans were very nice. Many thanked us for coming after we beat the shite out of them. Beautiful area too, especially in the fall.

I'm excited the tigers are coming to town! Don't get the chance to see them in Tennessee often so I always have those marked on the calendar. Will be fun to see the beat down

I wish TENN was our permanent opponent from the east instead of FLA...

I'm psyched for that game. I live in Richmond, VA and don't get to see LSU very often, I'll be making that trip for sure with a bunch of Vol fans I know.

I've been to UT for a couple games, very fun times, but never as an opposing fan. Should make for good trash talk.

Simple answer is because we played Mizzou at home this year, the SEC refuses to eliminate permanent opponents from the opposite division and there is no way to do a rotation any other way that is fair for everyone year-in, year-out.

LSU will now play (there can be exceptions) two East teams per year and when they play UF at home, they play the other on the road. When they play UF on the road the other is at home.

And, because Aleva sucks.

Neyland is awesome, so is Knoxville. Something not to pass up if you've never had the chance to see LSU play there.

Please plant the LSU flag in center of field if win. They enjoyed their post-Katrina win so much they did that to us in '05.

Alleva has a lifetime supply of lube from the SEC.

I'm planning on making the trip, since I live relatively close by. Been there for baseball, but this will be my first time for football, looking forward to it.

I had a great time when I went in 2011.

I drove from Austin to Knoxville, and then back again over the span of four days.

I bought tix for face value in the upper section, only to buy tix in the lower bowl for $20 a piece. Pretty awesome.

And of course LSU was ranked No. 1 and we won, so that pretty much clinches a great trip right there.

I have already booked a room. Need to get this trip off of my list of stadiums to visit. Really looking forward to it.

My friend and I drove from BR to Knoxville in 2011. We had primetime seats 5 rows up from the field, LSU student section directly to our right. Weather was perfect, everything was perfect. With about 5 min left to go in the 1st quarter a game marshall approached me and said my friend and I needed to come with him. My friend had smuggled in a bunch of those little vodka/whiskey bottle shooters and apparently a concerned Tennessee fan saw him shooting them and informed the Marshall. I remember he said "you LSU fans or something else, just can't get enough." Then confiscated the remaining bottles from my friends pockets and we were escorted out of the stadium and had to watch the remaining 3 quarters at cotton-eyed joes. Good times.

ETA: besides getting kicked out of the stadium, we had a blast. Everyone was really cool, tailgaters invited us in for beers/food, Neyland was awesome--loudest day crowd I had ever been around--- and Knoxville is just a beautiful badass college town. Def one of my favorite away games.
