why is our practices starting later than somes..

I'm not saying it is, but if in spring practice or the previous season a team holds too many practices the NCAA can take some of the fall ones away...happened with OSU in 06 I think...

You get 29 practices, but the starting date is determined by the date of your first game and the date classes start.

some moron called into buddy songy and cried and whined that MSU starting their practices a few days ahead of LSU would give them a distinct advantage.

LSU plans on playing later than everyone else, so were starting later. Jan 8, 2009 in Miami to be exact.
