Why is Oregon so hyped?

They’ve beaten an Utah with two injured QBs and a mediocre Oregon state team. Other than that their schedule is soft with some very unimpressive wins… put LSU even with our defense with their schedule and we are at worst 11-1 as well

Beats me? Bama, Miss, Ga, LSU, Mo, Tn etc would make them a 6-6 team.

I like the fact that Washington had to win close games.
They had to win a tough game in a driving rain storm at Oregon State that night, that was not an easy thing to do. That's just one example. Oregon is just one of those teams people jumped on and never got off.

I don’t know about that part but I agree Oregon and Bo Nix both look like total garbage.

We are 12-0 with a victory margin of 21 per game. Both of these teams are bad. No wonder Speights was all conference.

Because media and last year of PAC-12. The media is dominated by West coast and N/NE biases. They have hated the Southern dominance since the turn of century. NIL and the merger of the west coast powers into the Big 10 is the attempt to neutralize the SEC.
