Why is it ok to leave a Saints blowout early, but not an LSU blowout?

It's the NFL. Crowds are not as much of a factor in some places.

Why would you need to be a factor in a game that is pretty much under control?

IMO, NFL comebacks are not near as likely as NCAA. Once a team in the NFL is up by 3 possessions, the game is over.

I left when we went up 44-23, but I also had to drive back to BR that night. Had I been staying in NO I would have just stayed.

I was at the game Sunday crowd stayed until last TD. I guess that is a bad example though, because it was close into the fourth quarter.

Tell that to the Detroit Lions against Atlanta last Sunday

Tiger Stadium has a long-earned and different reputation to the Superdome as a sports venue.

One is a professional team, the other is a university team.

Saints players are still getting played thousands after you leave.

Most of the posters on here view college teams as fragile minded little kids who must be coddled to the fullest to avoid emotional breakdowns.

The NFL players are getting paid so booing or leaving early there is totally acceptable

So when college players get paid, it will be ok to leave Tiger Stadium early during a gigantic blow out?

Because the Saints players didn't choose to play for the Saints, they simply get paid by the Saints. Lsu players choose to come to Lsu and play for your city and state.

For me the paid/amateur status isn't as big a deal as the fact that college players chose to come to a school to play, vs being drafted/traded.
