Because people are tired of hearing about Will Wade. I love him too but it’s time to move the frick on.
I wanted him and McNeese to do well but not at the detriment of LSU. Esp when people use the situation to create division among the fanbase.

I hate the segment of LSU fans that are so insecure about instate schools. They hate when the little guys have any success. It’s pathetic.
They’ll pretend to be happy for them during the season but when they finally lose like McNeese did, they’ll come out and say “Told yall”.

McNeese having success has no bearing on LSU having success. They don’t recruit the same talent. They don’t have the same resources. The only time it might be a conflict of interest is if they meet up in the tournament.
Yall are ridiculous. Same way for baseball. If UL or LTU are fighting for a regional or something, yall root against them. It’s a bad look for LSU fans

This is a great way to put it. I also loved Wade as coach and hated seeing him fired. But the weaponization of the man on here is insufferable. There are plenty of Tiger “fans” on here who were no doubt happy when we lost the season. I think a lot of them are the ones who also hate Woody and couldn’t shut up about him until they finally realized how truly idiotic they looked continuing to rip him.

Definitely knew you were not. I just meant that's why you see all the back and forth about McNeese AKA WIll Wade's team. It's not about McNeese at all, it's about people who want to be right about whether or not LSU did the right thing firing Wade.
Right or wrong, it's done. There is nothing we can do about it. SO I'll support the team and be crushed when they lose, elated when they win. Even if both are meaningless or expected. Just how I am wired.
