Classic Yellow/Gold Jerseys that we have not worn since 1959. How do you not know about this.

I think the bigger question is what number is on his left shoulder? It's not #20

Weird seeing Billy frail looking. I knew him decently well in the 1990s, when he would have been in his late 50s/early 60s, and there arent many people whose arse he couldnt have kicked

He was still built like a brick shithouse

Is that not a painting? I mean the artist could have been taking liberties with the color.

You can barely see his left shoulder. But, clearly see the "2" and a portion of what is certainly a "0"

I was thinking the same thing...that had to be around 2017 when that particular picture was taken...

Just a guess...maybe there was a concern with the black and white copies. It's possible that color depicted in the painting copied a better shade of gray in black and white print.

Apparently you didn't. They were worn in 1957. Then Dinardo's team wore gold jersey's a few times.

Interesting. Thought that was from Cannons sophomore year. Fairly certain we wore the white jerseys every game after 1958 under Charlie Mac. He thought the white was lucky

Regardless, they still screwed the picture up. Missing the shoulder stripes etc etc

Stupid boomers
