Why haven't the players slipped up on who is the better QB?

We all know Miles won't say who the starter is until game day, but I'm surprised to see that no player has indicated who the front runner is as of yet when asked.

Because they're only practicing with one right now. Harris by default at the moment.

Probably because they don't like puking after running stadiums...

But in reality all these guys are teammates and respect each other, and many are in battles themselves. They understand that both QB's bring something to the table and they're job is to get themselves ready, not worry about what other players are doing.

You were never on a team were you? It is obvious that you have no understanding of how team dynamics work. Here is a sobering clue for you. The team doesn't give a damn about your speculating. Your wants mean nothing to them. Unlike most of you, they are a part of the situation and have a deeper understanding and respect for the process at work. They support and protect their own.

As others have said, you don't throw your brother under the bus in public. That's something that is well known even in high school. AJ and BH are respected by their teammates and seem to both be well liked

Apparently I read the OP wrong the first time. Players aren't going to say anything of the sort. It's about team.

Bull shite. They want the best. And they all have a feel who it is. They will slip up once summer begins

You apparently don't know the difference between being a member of a team and being a fan boy.

That's funny kid. Try again. But, I will admit, I was in the leader pack, so I can see where we differ

It's somewhat concerning that no player has gushed about BH. They've said he's getting better, but that's been about the extent. Has nothing to do with getting in trouble with Miles. Players compliment other players and how they've progressed all the time.

I agree with everyone saying the players wouldn't "slip up" as OP suggests, but I do think there is a noticeable lack of enthusiasm about Harris and his improvement, at least in the few things I've read.

Kind of refreshing in a way though. All the same people bitching about no fanfare are the same guys always throwing out the "JJ looked like a first rounder at Manning camp" comments.

This team feels a little more blue collar in their approach than we have in a long time, and I like that. No entitlement in their minds, like they know how much work there is to be done.

And that is the first step, after all.
