Everyone including chief is waiting for the Harbaugh dominos to begin falling. If JH refuses the Michigan job then Chief's future at LSU will be in question. Not as far fetched as many think. This could well happen.

Board of supervisors has to approve the contracts. Tentative until then.

In Miles last contract he got power over this I believe.

Think about the idea of leverage. Chief's contract expires on 12/31. Muschamp got more money than him to go to Auburn. LSU offered him more years and essentially no more money. There are jobs open, specifically at aTm. USC DC job is also open and he is from that area of the country. He can bargain better when his contract is over. I am sure he is not going to comment one way or another before the Bowl game is completed. TIFWIW...
