Why don't we see more shotgun in our offense?

Every team in the country does this except us...I don't understand why we continue this under center concept. We are not a pro team

Shot gun gives the QB more time to see the field and the defense.

what say you?

We do use shotgun. To exclusively pass. If we ever got in the shotgun we were passing every time. Normally on 3rd 5+.

It has to happen. If Saturday doesn't prove we need the Pitt version of Canada's offense instead of the Wisky version we are in big trouble.

Idk but I saw us run out on the field with 0 wide receivers on 3rd and 3. That's when I knew it was over.

Why would we shotgun plays?

Defenses know Etling isn't going to run the read option. Defenses also know Etling doesn't have a cannon arm.
So they sit back in middle zone coverage.

That is the reason though.
